Default New Owner of a '94 GT!

Found a very, very cherry 80K mile GT convertible in NC. I live in VA, but Henderson was within my search radius. Very few body scratches, only one small ding, and no defects at all in the leather interior. Top appears nearly new.

Made the drive back yesterday in 90+ degree heat, and the A/C never missed a beat, the engine didn't get hot at all, it was a very nice ride.

Car is 100% stock excepting the radio. The slave CD unit is still there, but the head end was replaced with a JVC. I may try to find a stock unit, but suspect the problem may have been with the cd player. It still lights up, but have not trouble shot it yet.

This car also has the 17" tri-spoke wheels. What's up with those? They were an option over the 5 spoke 16", but I find that design a little bizarre. It may have been the rage in '94.

Anyhow, I'm recently retired, and this car appears to be the perfect one for the wife and me on weekends. I'm looking forward to reading information on this forum, and I'm sure I'll have some questions.

welcome bro, lol the wheels are different for sure. do yourself a favor and don't put a stock radio back in, they are pieces of crap. put a cubby in the bottom din and call it a day.

$4800 for the car plus their $295 processing fee, so say $5100.

I need to get some pics for sure; wife took the digital camera to Cape Cod this weekend so that's a no go right now. You could find a stock photo I'm sure, and that's what it looks like. Certainly doesn't look like it's got 80K on the clock. I would bet it was lady owned.

Ran the Carfax on it and it appears it may even be one owner. Moved from Colorado to Ohio to N.C.

Glad to hear from you. I've got to find out if there are Mustang clubs or orgs. in my area.

That's a great idea! Do you know if an;yone makes something that replaces the slave unit? I may be a little happier with that arrangement than a JVC radio/CD and another cd drive directly below it.

Like bob said, be careful it's addictive. I bought a new edge gt 2 years ago and now I'm on my 3rd mustang in 2 1/2 years. Good luck with the car.
