Default What to go next? (Setup listed)

Hey there fellow mustang lovers I am currently working on my 88' stang for an explorer intake swap. While I'm at it I might even change the heads, cam, etc...

Here is my actual setup:

Speed Density
BBK Cold Air
65mm TB & EGR Plate
Explorer Upper & Lower Intake with phenolic spacer
24 lb. injectors

Ignition package from Performance distributors
Iridium spark plugs
Adjustable Fuel regulator w/ gauge

Underdrive pulleys
Battery relocated

EL BBK 1 5/8 headers
Prochamber hybrid pipe
Borla Mufflers

----------------------

Question is simple: What would go after next? Thanks

bump Besides electric fan, do you think GT40 heads with a new cam would be good even though I'm SD? Thanks

Before throwing more parts at it, what are your plans and goals for the car?

Good luck trying to drive laps with the drag launch springs! I'm running them in the front and they make my car drive like a cadillac. Anyways, with the exploder intake you're going to be choking anything more than a GT40 or P head so I'd say that's a great start. Contact Jay Allen @ CI (link is below) and see what he reccomends for a cam. He might reccomend you just (re)degree the stock cam or adding a set of 1.7rr especially if you want good driveability.

Ok thanks a lot about this insight! Quite interesting I'll look at that.

About the springs, yash I know they offer a weird driving feeling... bad unexperienced youth choice XD I got a set of MM Camber plates and struts waiting for installation though... Anyway, for me lapping is a long way from here

Thanks again!

you will have to have a completely adjustable suspension to think about doing both. most of the time its one or the other

Why not do a MAF concversion next. That way if you do upgrade to GT40 heads, you can put in a cam and the car will run right. SD and cams usually don't get along very well.
