i just put the headers and H pipe on my notchback i like the way it looks with the pipes coming out by the back bumper but was thinkin of turndowns what do u guys like more??? i know its louder with turndowns i got flowmasters but i think the pipe look looks better on lx s what would u do??

It depends on my mood. Dumps at the axle is great for thumping around but they kick up all kinds of dust and is super loud, very bassey.

Tails are part of an LX.

Dumps are okay if you run em with a 45* turn down. Dynomax Race Bullets aren't too bassey... I'll have to post a video of my car at idle and a few revs tomorrow... although it is all one 3" pipe.

dumps are the way to go on a gt because tailpipes don't look good with the low rear bumper. Tailpipes on a lx I think look way better than dumps though. Without tailpipes the lx looks way too much like a escort/4 cylinder car.

first real mod I did to my car involved me getting rid of my dumps... well actually mine were more of a sidepipe... which sucks with a ragtop

my 89 vert was like that to, first thing I did was hack the redneck exhaust off and now it's gonna have tailpipes

i love the way my dumps sound on mine but im getting ready to put on some lx tailpipes.the fumes are getting to me now.
