Default How wide?

Im curious as to how wide of a tire we can squeeze under the fox body fenders in the rear without rubbing either the quad shocks or fender??

I have a set of 15x8.5 +20 offset rims and was planning on putting some 265/50 R15's on them... will i have clearance issues? and if i need to remove the quad shocks, what do i need to do? control arms??

^That would be a 4 inch backspacing. OP do you know what the backspacing on your wheels are? The size of the tire is easily stuffed into the rear on a stock 15inch wheel but the backspacing and offset will be the determining factor. If you do have a slight quad shock you can just unbolt it and flip it to give you some more clearance.

ok the lay them face down and still a straight edge across the wheel. Then measure the distance from the straight edge to the hub of the wheel.

I am running 275 / 60 / 15's ... Be sure to roll the fenders otherwise you will eat up your tires via fender knives...

I have never done body work before. Can you please explain rolling the fenders. What tools do you need to do this?

5.5" would be ideal. The 4" is gonna make the tire sit way out and look like crap. Tire rub will be inevitable.
