On the heads look on the passenger side all the way towards the radiator it will be stamped GT, or the driver side all the way towards the firewall i think too..

The gt40 heads also have 3 bars ( 4 for p's) on the ends of the heads. The intake looks alot different. Why are you asking? are you wanting to know what to look for, like at the junk yard, because there are 3 different gt40 intakes and they all look different.

gt-40 intakes have round ports on the top mating surface, like a cobra one

No mainly i am looking to find out what I have on my car because my dad swears that my 94 feels alot faster than his old 91 lx factory 5.0 car he thinks mine is making about the same hp as his 02 gt which is close to 260 and i dont know what the mods to the car are cause i got it from a check for cash place who didnt know a thing about it they didnt even have a person that could drive it cause it was a 5- speed and the car seems to have plenty of power cause it will get sideways through the first 3 like no tommorow I will look for the stamp on the heads when i get back to the car on wednsday also it might have a slight cam because the guy at autozone has a stock 94 Gt and we listened to the exhaust tone on both and my 94 had a completely diffrent sound from his.

if you look at the bottom of the upper cobra manifold you can see how the ports are not in a straight line, thats an easy why to tell if you not that familiar with them
