1993 GT REAR TIRE SIZE & MORE?
I got a 93 gt and was wondering what is the best 15inch rim width and backspacing to run in the stock wheel well, and what is the biggest tire i can fit i want to stick with a 15 inch rim for drag racing, i was thinking of running bfgs for the street and mt drag radials for the track. I apologize for useing caps i didt know that it matters. Just wondering what does it matter?

A 3.90 gear, thats a little odd size for a mustang to have. Just for the information stock tire size for those wheels is 225/60. A good size drag radial would be a 255/60. My MT's in that size are 27" tall. If you really want to stick with a 15" wheel then look into some welds. They look better, are wider, are lighter and have a better backspacing for the right tire size. My turbines (also 15" wheel from the same years) have 275/60's on them and those tires is huge. You have alot to learn it sounds like on getting the car to hook at the track though. Get some pics up of that car!

Ugly wheels!
You know what they say about opinions they are like, i could say weld wheels are cheesey because everybody and there mom, brother, and sister has them too! Buy the way the guy that sold me the car offered to sell me a set of pony wheels, but i thought they were cheesey, it looked like one of your cars with that bitchen teal green paint has them.LOL

Wheels
[QUOTE=PRO50SC;6632428]It had 10 holes on it when I bought it somehow. I guess the previous owner changed them. I had the ponies on my ride for about 10 years. Then chrome bullits and now the pro stars.[/QUOT I was wondering do you guys just talk smack on here or actually answer questions?
