I went ahead and welded up the crack in the H pipe. I also finally got ahold of the Tech support of MAC as well and seeing what I can do about it. I just sent them my invoice from the time of purchase (from jan 08, glad I keep some emails lol).

I also confirmed my thoughts of not having WOT yet. The pedal was hitting the bracket under the dash at the top so the pedal didn't have its full travel that the carb needed. I had an extra 1/2 an inch of travel left at the carb for WOT. I used a nylon spacer that pushes the pedal up some (top goes back) so that it gave me enough space to get full use. All I can say is HOLY HELL this thing picks up and moves now that I have full throttle use and the 4 barrels are fully opening now. I had it up to about 120MPH on the way to work lol. I shifted at 5100 or so from 1st through 3rd and then 4500 at 4th bc I already new I was doing about 110 and then pushed some more in 5th before I let off. I do have 3.08's still for those who are wondering. Great thing is that the motor smoothed out once the carb was fully open and the torque was holding the motor but I know I am just stressing the already screwed motor mounts even more but I just had to test it lol. Once I get the lower end tuned and some new motor mounts I think I will be ready to get a chance to go to the track and see what this thing can do! I can't wait!

sweet sounds good.

if you drive it hard, it should have some upper 12's in it with the proper tires/suspension.

Thats what I am hoping for. I have the proper tires with the Et streets. BUT what I need to do is to install the 3.73's that are sitting on my shelf . The only thing I really need for those is the crush sleeve since I already have alot of shims for it and i know the bearing is good on the pinion. As long as a set of motor mounts solve my vibration issue I will be great. I did weld up the stock ones last night to see if it helps at all. if I have any issues now with the vibration at 3500+ I know its somewhere else lol.

As for the driving hard.....don't worry I will After I get the launch down the pedal is staying on the floor during the shifts lol If I break the trans then I guess I get to park it and put my money into something else for awhile. The wife would just love that.........

I did a compression check today just for the hell of it

In order from 1 to 8
140
125
125
120
120
125
125
115

Pretty good results I think. IDK how many miles are on this thing at all. I know I have put less than 3k miles on it since I have had it. BUT I in those miles I have done nothing but beat on it. Next thing I am checking for my vibration issue is my balancer. Just haven't had the chance yet.

Today I picked up a great deal. I purchased a 90-93 5.0 cluster with white face gauges for $20!!! AND it DOES work! lol. I also picked up a 99-04 leather rear seat set for $20 from the same guy. Whenever I get the time to mess with it I will be swapping the rear seats into the 93 as well. I did go ahead and install the new cluster into the car with the 83's dash. I had to drop the steering column some that I could fit it is in and not going anywhere. I just can't put the bezel trim back on the dash but really...who cares lol Pics to come!

I don't remember if I posted it on here but I did figure out that my vibration is comming from a bent crank! I am also getting one from a buddy at work that has been turned .010 for $20. Just gotta get it from and get it put in.

I'm getting there I'm getting there lol.

While I was jumping the solenoid to watch the fuel pressure (was basically out of gas) I could see the crank pulley move up and down. Kinda makes sense though. Explains why my front main leaks and its basically brand new.

The whole assembly of the balancer and crank pulley was. Its just easier to see watching the front of the pulley. But its not the balancer causing it lol
