pics from Factory Five Racing's 2/13/10 meet.
my wife and i mad the 2 hr trip out to Wareham to go check out the meet again (we went last year), and also FFR was unveiling its Mk4 roadster as well.
i also needed some motivation to get off my *** and work on my '33 so i went to go have a talk with other owners.
lots of pics:
FFR, coolest bunch of guys you'll ever meet.
the few guys that braved the cold to come out. these guys are nuts, it was about 22* on sat...
a Challenge race car (NASA series racing, some class as CMC), a partially completed GTM, and the warehouse where a bunch of roadsters are ready to get picked up.
really cool Roush intake on a 302 (anyone know this things story?)
new Mk4 roadster. roll bar is 1.5" instead of 2", fender flares are a little bit bigger, doors are a little different, a few other differences. has one of the FRPP 4.6 3V crate engines.
bunch of pictures of two '33 hot rods, the blue and silver one won Best Hot Rod at SEMA.
the chassis has a 4.6 32V engine (pretty cool old school HEMI valve covers too), 3 link rear suspension (same as mine). ignore me looking down at the pedal, the gas pedal is literally behind the brake pedal, and the car has an auto trans tunnel. it was pissing me off, i was trying to get ideas for my gas pedal placement.
suicide doors FTW
