what would I need to do to get a 89 5.0L into 11 seconds ?

how much money do you want to spend?? and I assume you want consistant hp?? meaning no NO2 to get you there..........

spend the money to get to low 11s I guess I donno, Im just looking towards the future doing research and all...and yeah no NO2 please

Heres what I've come up with for I think 12s

Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Heads, E303 Cam, Cobra Intake, Exhuast 2.5",Headers, H-pipe, Mufflers, 3.55 Gears, 347 Kit....

ouch, ouch, ouch 302 parts on a 347, if a 347 doesn't crack an 11 out of the box you've got some more research to do or driver mod to make..lol......no e-cam, and tfs fac 190 heads are what you need and a victor efi intake or rpm II but not a cobra, and at least 3.73 gears or better yet 4.10's...

err 347 stroker kit...my bad...

and now im confused from what ive read already

What he was saying is the heads,cam,intake you listed are designed for 302ci, too small for 347ci.
