Id do 3.73s if I were you and i mean if you have the money to build up the rear it will allow you to launch the car at higher rpms and just be great insurance in the long run.

If you are going to the track do 3.73s. If you are not and drive on the highway do 3.55s. I would definitly get a rebuild kit from a website like 50resto.com etc....when you pull the differential out you can inspect it then and change if needed. Gears can be a tough project depending on your skill set. If you have never done this before make sure someone is on hand to help you.

The Capri in the video I posted recently has 5spd & 3.73s, great on the launch but I have driven on the highway too, running 75 mph steady the RPM's are up there more than I like, and you can forget fuel mileage I'd go 3.55s. If your car is going to see more track time than highway time then go for it you'll love the kick.

I'd swap my 3.73's for that, however, once I crack the bottle, the freaking thing is gettin close to redline , guess it'll be time for a tire size mod soon..lol
