Default how much should I be paying for injectors?!

New to the 5.0 side of the forum, been in the 2005 side for about 6 years now. So I have a 87 jeep wrangler with a 93 cobra 5.0 in it and apparently the injectors aren't staying open, causing it to run like sh*t. the shop said for all 8 injectors its going to be $1400 just for the injector, but when i look online American Muscle has the ford racng 24lb injectors for 250 for a set of 8??????

what size injectors does the 93 cobra run and does anyone have part numbers or suggestions?

Appreciate any help!

cobra motor uses 24 lb = blue inj and 1400.00 is high, does 1400.00 include labor to replace?? if they are using dealer list price then maybe I can see the reasoning but still way high IMO.......... also I've never had 8 inj all bad....how did they confirm the diagnosis?? is it missing/ running rough??..........also welcome and please read this in regards to section posting content :

negative 1400 is for parts only plus another 250 for labor. so whats keeping me from getting these for 219? as apposed to $1400???

Sounds like they are scamming you. Find a different shop to re diagnose. FYI: You can buy a used set of 24lbers for about 75 bucks.

Those would work, but I'm thinking something like this(price wise): http://forums.corral.net/forums/show....php?t=1261578

Just join Corral and find amazing deals.

No prob. BUT you should get this thing diagnosed by someone else. The issue may not even be injectors..(All 8 is ludicrous to me.)

Agreed, for them to say that all 8 of your injectors are bad.... that just sounds very odd.....
