Default 1 step forward, 10 back

Well im slowly but surely getting this junk box done, but every time i seem to make some progress, i take 10 steps back lol
I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a Team Z rear suspension, I am running strange 1 way adjustable rear coilover springs, with the team z coilover mounting kit. (seen in the photos) and also seen is the fact that i have had to take out half of the trunk to fit the thing in..... and also cut out, and relocate the mounting spots for the gas tank mounting spots.....

The rest of the suspension is going to consist of Team Z's off set, instant center lower control arm kit
Fully adjustable upper control arms
spherical bushings
and a anti roll bar

For the transmission, i have decided to mount the shifter were the ash tray door went (dont smoke anyways) so i cut out the whole section to fit it in there. Then since my dad is into working on airplanes, i was able to find some good quality scrap aluminum, we used a brake to acurately cut out the piece to cover up the shifter bezzle. I have a painless 4 toggle switch panel that used to mount in the ash tray, but obviously it cant go there anymore, so i am going to put it in the center of the aluminum piece i made to cover up the shifter bezzle area.

I have also receieved my torque converter, but am still waiitng on the bellhousing before i can put the transmission in.

also started getting the head liner in... But still needs a LOT of work

thanks man! ya i put the seat in with the steering wheel on before i hacked it all up, it seems like this position will work great! especially since the harness is going to keep me pretty close to the seat and not be able to reach as far

That thing is going to be wicked fast!!! I like how the insurance will stay the same (hopefully) cause they don't know it has a killer set up under the hood. They just think it a normal 5.0, well now I think you have a sleeper, you ought to call that thing "EGO SMASHER"

Kyle, you shouldn't need the extra spherical bushings. The relocated uppers should have them "built in."

Maybe I'm missing something, but they usually have a sleeve deal that slides into the housing ears. If your look under the brace you should see what I'm talking about.

Good luck and nice progress!
