SSP Wannabe Update and pics

My 90 is an original SSP car from Fl. This is the best website that I have found as far as SSP facts/figures/data on these cars.

To the OP the car looks great!

Update, yesterday I got motivated and polished up my taillights then masked off the brake, turn/ reverse and reflective lenses. Then I shot the area in between gloss black, cause eventually the car will be black and white. It wasn't that hard, it just takes patience and multiple passes. I used the headlight restoration kit from 3M(not plugging, it's just a good kit), some painter's tape and a razor to get the exact area masked off. I have done around 12 sets of headlights and this makes my 3rd set of taillights. I'm no pro by any means, but it is easy if you want to bring back taillights for around $20 instead of $100 plus repo taillights. I kind of rushed on painting the right one, but it still looks good.

3M kit used, cost $20+tax

The Shine/ Reflectiveness of the tails after I got done was worth all the work.

Thanks MeanStang, I have also bought P600, P1000 and P2000 grit paper to do some headlights with wet sand on the P2000 followed by the P3000 disk from leftover kit along with the rubbing compound that yielded great results. I have tried the meguires plastix sh*t, but it was not as good IMO.

np.. do you have any pics of what they look like before and without the paint in between?
i guess i got lucky, there was a guy making black lexan trim pieces that i put around my tails and i got a set off e-bay... it actually flushed them up and look sweet with my matte paint on the trunklid.. hadn't thought about actually masking and painting.. good deal man..

Meanstang, I will look for some earlier pics, I was about halfway done doing the tails and thought "I should be taking before and after shots"

Had the day off after doing a 24hr duty and on the way home stopped by the parts store and picked up some Energy Suspension sway bar bushings. The old sway bar bushings were done for and needed to be replaced. After a nice nap got the car on the wheel ramps and went to work. Got out the wire wheel and cleaned up the hardware. Then mounted the new bushings, now I don't know if the Energy Suspension brand bushings are recommended, but after the install my front end is WAY tighter and fun to take around corners now. Here are some pics of the install and of the old blown out bushings. I think the Energy Suspension bushings was $12 bucs well spent.

nice.
i think my sway bar bushings where replaced right before I got my car, because mine still look brand new.
but im strongly considering removing my front swaybar for drag racing. I havn't yet, because I like throwing the thing around corners.
