Rear Disc Brakes, 5 Lug
Alright guys, the time has come to start putting together a rear disc setup. I picked up some calipers and rotors for free today so I figured why work on getting the rest. Keep in mind I have looked but alot of the sites I look at don't work anymore or don't give the info I am looking for....
I know I need:
mounting bracket
anti moan bracket
soft brake lines
e brake lines
SN prop valve or adjustable
MC
...now........
1. which brake booster would be better? the 93 Cobra or the 94/95 GT?
2. Connecting the soft lines to the hard lines, cut and adapt the hard line on the rear or cut and adapt a hard line to split at the body to go to both rear calipers?

cut and adapt your existing axle mounted hard line. There is only a single drop for the rear brake system, and it would be ill advised to try to do single caliper drops. You will cause problems when it comes to axle articulation. Having the single, centrallt located soft line drop from body to axle is the ONLY way to go.

Ahhhh yea....didnt think about that....if the weather wasn't ****ty I could have walked my happy *** outside and looked at the 98 lol....
What about the brake booster/mastercylinder combo? Which would be best....
Im gonna get the adjustable prop valve since I have my torque arm. It changes the needed brake bias just a little bit

I thought the reluctor rings made the axles themselves slightly longer....sorry its been awhile since I have messed with that information. They are just ranger axles, stock fox length.
If I find a SN rear cheap enough I am just going to swap out the whole thing but I haven't yet done so.
