you can use the short handle or you stock handle and still have the longer handle i have used them both ways and its more comfy with the longer stock handle.

i hate to be cliche' but the the one that works best for you

my favorite shifter was actually an old skool hurst with the tall chrome handle

but anything solid with pre loaded spring tension is a BOATLOAD better than stock. hell even jsut removing the rubber bushings from the stocker (which is a hurst) is a big diff

mostly want a different one because it sits too far foreward. im 6'3 and to sit comfortably the seat slides all the way back... so wile in that position driving i feel its too far up going into 3rd n 5th... will any of those extend it back like 3+"?

UPR's short throw shifter works EXTREMELY well, plus it's Made in America and carries a Lifetime Guarantee. It is only $135 with the MF.com discount.

You could use our rock crusher handle to bring the **** towards you:

the main ones i hear about are mgw and pro50.im ordering the mgw very soon.
i have the hurst with the chrome handle and all i hate it.way too notchy, took forever to get the handle to stop rattling and just in my opion looks like crap.
i had steeda tri ax in my 03 mustang.of course its a different tranny but i wasnt a fan of that one either.not only was it too notchy but it was too noisey.i know aftermarket shifters are gonna be notchy but those are rediculous.
this is just opinions not facts so dont take my word entirely
