Default What is this car worth

I have always had 4.6 mustangs and never a 5.0.
Well i came across this fox the other day.and i really like it.

Its a 1987 lx 5.0 5spd.has bbk headers,h-pipe,mufflers and 3:73 gears,
everything else it all stock. It has 93k miles. the car looks perfect in person.
What is a good price for a car like this in this shape? he is asking 5700.I love it cause
its all stock and it was never ran hard and well taking care of. Its never been wrecked and 1 owner.

Wow that's clean, that price seems to be a good asking price, but of course I would offer something like 4500 and see what they drop to. A real clean fox like that is worth some bucks

Good lord. You can buy a decent fox in KY for like 2-3 grand. However, its rare to see one that nice. I would say 4,500-5,000 at the most.

Just 5grand for a fox that clean? In AZ, that car would already have been sold like ten times by now. Sorry mate but, you're looking at buying at that price. It's ok though, you're getting an amazing fox.

It's only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it. However, the car does looks very clean..rare these days to find them like that.

I did notice the a/c does not look factory though.

i think offering him 4500 is a fair price, where is it written in stone a previous owner didn't romp the crap out of it

Let's be honest, these cars can take an awful amount of romping and abuse without a sweat. Hell, my 5.0 had 300k miles on it and they were extremely hard miles. Just barely started losing compression at 301k.

At 91k, I doubt he has anything to really worry about. Plus, if that r12 a/c works, it has paid for itself.
