hey guys well another person contacted me on craigslist with another foxbody there looking to sell its a 1984 gt350 5.0 5 speed. it needs paint badly but mechanically its good he just went to Baltimore with it no problems. so my question is do you think it worth a grand i dont think its worth a grand but if you were buying it what would you offer?

If the asking price is a grand offer $750. Always start your bargaining low.

yeah its worth 1k assuming its solid under neath because its a factory v8 car...heck the air cleaner is worth a few $ even thought the snorkels are missing(i believe they are just 2 regular ones off any ford air cleaner

he said last time he looked underneath it was clean the only rust is wear the paint is faded thru.

well check really good...also check around the sunroof. clogged sunroof drain=roof rot and also floor pan rot

Ya I think so but like 'bluebeastsrt" said start low and ask $750 it can't hurt? That car just needs some TLC and it would clean up pretty good !

I'd also offer about $750 if I can't see any rust.
Put it up on a lift someplace and see if there is any rust..........
