Is it practical? No. Cylinder heads are where you make your power. The amount of time and money you'll dump into a build with the heads being the choke point would be ridiculous. And thats not with a guarantee that you'll meet your goal.

Just take the extra time and save for a nice set of heads and eliminate the "what if?" questions. I'm not doubting your build skills by any means, I'm sure its possible. But like I said, just impractical.
Agree completely, if I was gonna build this, the heads would be the first thing in the trash. I was just trying to get there with the motor that's in the car. PO must have stuck some money in these heads and the build because it works pretty good. Wish I knew more about it actually, was told it had a letter cam, but which one??? It was a friend of a friends cousins uncle deal. Oh well, it is what it is and its been a great car for years now. I can't change anything about the motor till all kids or out of school and house.

If the original question was would a 347 stroker on a 150 shot hit 11s I probably would have answered differently.

I'll just post back when I get my 11.99 at 112. Which means this thread is about to die. But I am going to try. I have a winch for my trailer lol.
