After market elbow hitting Tall valve covers.
I have a 1995 mustang that we are rebuilding the motor with Trick Flow Heads and upper and lower intake. We added a 1 inch spacer and the EGR connection on the Trick Flow elbow is hitting the valve cover. Do the make a 2 inch spacer for Trick Flow? Other ideas?

i assume youre not running the trick flow valve covers? a lot of guys run fox valve covers but you gotta do a little grinding on a bolt on the alternator and sometimes remove the baffles from inside

I don't think I have ever heard of a spacer thicker than 1.00" perhaps you can use a .375" on top of the 1.00"
Possibly use a spacer between the elbow and upper intake to get it out a little further?
Pictures of what you have problems with would be helpful.

id go with the trick flow covers if you want aftermarket but personally id just run some 90-93 fox mustang covers. do you have your alternator in place already?? sometimes you have to cut the tall covers to make room for the alternator.

no shyt shirlock...............doesn't mean you need the extra tall ford racing ones as they are overkill........as stated the tfs valve covers clear the rockers and don't require a huge 1 inch spacer....the last 95 I did we used the tfs covers and iirc a 1/2 spacer and all was good
