GT or GT Premium?

GT or GT Premium?
Thanks or all the input in the Performance Package thread. I'm closer to making my purchase but now I'm debating on which trim to get. Thoughts? Do the driving modes really make that big of a difference? Oh, and I've decided I will get the PP.

It all comes down to what you want. I ordered a premium because I like the extra content like leather heated seats. If your looking for maximum performance get the regular GT with the PP to save weight and mod the hell out of it. I'm a believer that you spend 100 percent of the time inside the car so all the little things like the upgraded stereo and a nicer cabin make the cruise more enjoyable.

I went with a GT with 3.55 gears, and just the way it sits it blew my fully loaded 05 GT Premium out of the water on options..minus the leather of course. I am missing a lot of technology but still feel quite spoiled from all of the other Mustangs I have owned.

Got the GT Premium vert, but not the 401a package. Got the 3.55 & the 50th accessory package - love those wheels. Bottom line is it is a great car regardless of the package. Take the time and think about what you want in the car. Me - I love going fast with the top down - comfortably!

I had a big headache when purchasing my 2015 GT Mustang. So I took both of them to the track. GT vs GT premium? Very much a-like in my preference. Just some extra features such as Heated/cooling seats + "chrome" track modes + navi as an option with the premium model. Handling wise? GT premium wins on a whim. They both are the same Car. Same Power. Same Engine. And the way I look it? All 2015 models are all 50th anniversary regardless. Also, the cloth seats on the base feels great. If this is your daily car, I would suggest the regular GT. If you want something more luxury, get the performance.
Plus, its the GT performance package you made be worrying about later. Its really up to you (DONT GET IT unless you want to spend $2,500 on some tires, two gauges that replaces your middle air conditioner, and 3.73DR). P.S. For future cosmetic mods? Only "Premium GT" models, at the moment, has an valance rear bumper part you can swap out and make your stang have quad exhaust to make it look like the roush or the new gt350. It's quite sexy... but cmon? It already has 435hp

What can you afford, & what other things do you want to do with the money you have? If it wasn't, we'd all say put every option available on it, right? Have some of what you want now, yet prepare for the future by not spending every dime you have! It's a balance.

I ordered mine with strictly performance in mind as I plan to do a TT build hopefully next winter so with that in mind I opted for a base GT with the PP. After a lot of reading the premium is just about the creature comforts to me and the base GT still has push button start the cool window roll down feature stuff and backup camera. I JUST WANNA GO FAST! HAHA
