I know it's not the same car...but I've got Brembos from the factory on my car and I hate them. I want to get smaller wheels for winter and there's no smaller wheels that fit over them...pain in the A$$... And honestly do you plan on doing a lot of auto-xing or road racing?? If not...what's the point of the bigger fade resistant brakes? I'm sure the stock brakes do just as well for a few 60-0 stops and normal daily driving. Brembos are more appearance upgrades IMO unless you do enough racing to warrant fade resistant braking systems. Just my .02

So far I'm averaging just under 19mpg with mostly city driving, but there's been a lot of right foot foolishness. It's just so much fun.

I may be in the minority but I think the Brembo package is completely pointless unless you're doing a lot of road racing. It seems some people are a bit misinformed. The nice thing about the Brembos isn't so much that they stop better, it's that they don't fade when used aggressively in a repeated manner like when hot lapping a roadcourse. The stock brakes will slow you down just fine in day to day driving. Put the money towards something else.

For that $1,200 you also get 19x9 1/2 wheels and better tires. Even if you don't consider the "tuning" Ford does with this package, it's a great deal. Hell, the Shaker 1000 upgrade costs more.

Hwy you may lose about 2mpg but city should increase unless you enjoy the extra power down low too much.
The new 5.0 power doesn't really kick in until ~3000 rpms so the bigger gear really helps the normal driving.
Dealers around me are still asking above sticker for all the 2011 Mustangs. Last week I bought a new Challenger SRT8 $8000 off sticker which made it less than the Mustang 5.0.
I'm still looking to buy my wife a new car so maybe by the end of the year the price of Mustangs 5.0s will drop around here. My wife is also looking at the 2011 Camaro SS/RS.
I think it awesome to have such great cars to chose from. Brings me back to the late sixties/early 70s only better!
