SteedaGus, can you comment on what the average whp gain should be on a stock 5.0 with your companies intake and tune? Also is there dyno proof of the gain?

Just asking this so there wont be any more speculation on how much is gained from stock to otherwise stock with steeda intake and tune.

My local tuner called Jon Lund when I stopped by to ask about the SCT tuner. Jon wrote the code that most of the vendors are pushing. I don't know if some of the vendors are making more "tweaks" or what, but I heard that all the programs should be fairly close.

I have the Steeda CAI and SCT from Lethel. It rocks!!!

My Steeda CAI and SCT arrived from Steeda late today.
I will be installing it tomorrow. Can't wait.
It should go well with my Corsa Extreme Axle Back that
was installed yesterday.

It's an amusing title for a thread but alot of people are just going to see that title, assume there is something wrong with Steeda, and move on, which I gather is the opposite of what you intentions are. That's what I did until today.

Almost 600 views, I think people were reading. Also, if you hover your mouse over the title, you can see the first line of any topic on the board.

That may be true for several companies but I can assure all of you that our tunes are made from scratch on our in house dyno. I watched Brent spend 30 hrs a week on the dyno for several weeks developing our tunes.

Does the tune help with shift point on the auto or is it not needed?

Yes, our tunes do change the shift points on the automatic and also firm up the shifts (line pressure) as well. It really is a night and day difference, compared to a stock car.
