I'm glad I'm not the only one that can't reach the 26 MPG mark. LOL. Here in New Mexico the speed limit on the highway is usually 65-75, so of course I'm almost always doing 80. I'll try going 65, and see if I can hit 26 MPG. Around the city, I drive it like I stole it, so my mileage is garbage.

The best fuel mileage will be about 70 mph with 3.31:1rear gears, maybe 65-70 for 3.55:1 and maybe 65 for 3.73:1.

With 3.55:1 and 3.73:1, my guesses exact peak fuel economy speeds might be wrong but going with deeper rear gears will sacrifice your fuel mileage

I was able to get 24 mpg today on the highway doing 60mph until I drove into a nasty head wind that decreased that to 22.

I hear you. Driving into the wind will destroy you mpg very quickly. But when you have a tailwind and you are cruising along at 70 mpg you begin to get hypermiling mileage. Getting 28 mpg avg on straight flat freeway with a strong tailwind allows you to cruise while barely sipping on fuel

Yep... Took a trip last month.
Memphis to Little Rock, sightly downhill into a strong wind. 23.3mpg
Two days later on the return trip, slightly uphill and with the wind 26.7mpg

60 mph = 27-29 mpg in mine.
Steeda agressive tune and intake.
I average 23 plus.

Drove he last 100 miles strictly in city stop and go, barely any freeway, and I am down to 22.5 MPG avg, but I have not reset the MPG counter for the last 300 miles, so the higher number from those previous miles might have mitigated the MPG loss by being averaged in altogether.

I know a tune helps mpg, but by how much. What were you all getting when stock?

Over stock, I can see probably about 2-3 MPG avg more. Considering that you are looking at a 20 MPG avg overall (mix of hwy & city), that 2-3 MPG avg increase is significant; that translates into 10-15% above stock tune.
