Default 2011 5.0 Short Throw Shifter

Hey Guys I am looking in purchasing the Barton Industries Short Shifter and Bracket. I heard it is one of the best set ups for the 5.0. Before I purchase I would like to get all your feedback.

I love the Barton on my 5.0, I dont' have the bracket, but I've felt another 5.0 Mustang's Barton shifter with the bracket, and it does make a difference.

Supposedly 40% shorter throws with the Barton. I didn't measure before and after to verify, but it feels great.

I agree! A million times better than the shifter in the 4.0 v6, that was like shifting a Peterbuilt semi!

+1. I like mine, I also have the bracket. FYI, it will transmit more noise though.

Not sure if MGW has one out for the 5.0 yet but if they do GET IT.
They are pretty much 100% adjustable even on how high the shifter sits
They have a wide range of choices on just how short you want to go and it takes a simple twist of a small *** they have on them when installing.

The sit FIRM and dont rattle at all while in neutral. My 06GT was cammed and it still did not rattle one bit. They also do not transmit the noise many do.
And remember I had the extra shake in my car from the cams.

I can't say enough about the MGW. Just ask around and you will DEFINITELY find out why.
You have to go to their website to order one though. (like that's a problem lol)
