2010 gt 500 exhaust on 11 5.0?

Will a gt500 axle back off of a 2010 fit a 2011 5.0?

Simple answer is no. The exhausts are different and ford changed it in 2011. Only the 2011-2012 gt500 exhaust will fit

You are sure that the 10-12 Mustang GT500's are different? The 10 looks identical doesnt it. What did they modifiy on the car out of curosity?

I think the hangers changed. But, other than that it's still the same???

I believe that starting in 2011 the muffler uses a "ball and socket" type of connection to the mid pipe.

In 2010 the GT500 got an upgraded muffler from the GT and I think that year it still has the same muffler to mid pipe connection.

Yeah 2011 GT500 is the same as the 11 GT. Anything earlier will not work because the clamps are not the same. The 11+ has the ball socket style. 2010 will not work.
