Why is picking an exhaust setup so hard?

Alan do you run with any of the filters out of the sound tube? I had mine out for a while then put it back in about 2 weeks ago just to hear the exhaust alone, too quiet now for my taste.

HOLY SHOOT! I am getting Borla ATAK on my next stang with my same long tubes. I cant even imagine how loud she will be! It is either that or muffler delete from Pypes lol.

Here was my setup.

I too have been listening to exhaust clips till I'm blue in the face. Had a 99 GT with no cats, off road Bassani X-pipe and Flowmaster American Thunder mufflers. In retrospect, they were a little loud. Now that I'm a little older, I want something a little more subdued.

I am going with a Magnaflow catback, but am keeping the stock H-pipe. My question is whether to get the street series or competition series. Any suggestions?

Check out pypes its what I run. The system is a few hundred less than the magnaflow cat back system. They are loud though..I have to put my car in second and "bump" out of my court in the morning so I don't **** off my neighbors. And for some extra fun put it on jack stands and install it yourself. That was my attempt at sarcasm. It sucked.
