Default What's the cost to have internals replaced (Rods)

I was seeing rods may be a weak point in the engine. What other weak points are there, and what is the general labor + part cost to replace these?

depends on if you do the labor yourself or not. you can go on some of the vendor sites to find parts cost. any reason why? the internals don't need to be replaced until 600-650??? if I'm not mistaken... stop by a couple well known shops in your area and then try to negotiate for a lot cheaper lol

Just interested. It's highly doubtful I would ever do that until the car had well over 100k on it, and I had another DD.

More then likely I wouldn't do anything more then a tune, exhaust, intake.

I was under the impressions the rods would give out before that much HP though, just from what I read, maybe Im wrong?
