2013 GT A/C quit
Any one else having an issue with their 2013 Auto GT A/C malfunctioning? Ours quit last week, no known cause. You can hear the compressor and fan kick on when the button lights up, but no cold air (act like its stuck on vent...but there is no vent setting)...
Wife is giving me grief since its a new car...need to get this fixed.
In true Gremlin form, I took it to the dealer and it worked just fine for them, even during the 20 mile test loop. Drove out, next morning, no A/C.
WTF....
talking it back in next week...

My issue was a loose wire on the external thermometer that monitors outside air temp that switches the system to fresh air from recirc when the temp drops below a certain point. With it not working, it was drawing in outside air which lowered the efficiency of the cooling system...took two runs back to the shop for them to figure it out...

Mine started randomly working the other day. Now, the compressor will only engage when the car first starts up, and will only stay on for a few minutes at best. Sometimes, very randomly, it will work for an entire trip. This morning on the way to the dealership, it didn't work at all. Bought my car at a Chevy dealer 3 months ago, and bought their GMPP warranty which was described to me at the time as a "bumper-to-bumoper" warranty for 36k miles, just like if I bought the car new. Right now, it is sitting at a reputable Chevy dealer here in Wichita, so hopefully I don't get bent over on this one...
Hopefully I have an answer today on what is exactly wrong, and that it can be fixed within a few days so I can drive it back home.
