got me an obd1 scanner this mornin...

Default got me an obd1 scanner this mornin...

and the codes it pulled with the koeo was 34 and the koer was 9866 I know what the code 34 is but I can't figure out what 9866 is.Does anyone else know?

sure its not 98 & 66? lol


34 is the egr position/evp malfunction. is your egr valve clean?

and if im right and its 98 and 66. 66 is a MAF low voltage output and thats probably why your car idles like shizz and why it makes no difference when you unplug it while its running.

I guess they can be but what is 98?

hard fault

98 (r): Hard fault present. The ECA is running in FMEM (Failure Effects Management Mode),
so something is royally screwed up that the KOEO test should have told you about.
Rerun KOEO and fix whatever you find there.

egr valve bolts to the back of the egr spacer behind the TB. the sensor plugged into the valve is the evp sensor.

the koeo pulled the same one(34) and I don't have the time right now to run the koer test right now
