Default gt/cs vs srt challenger

last night i was on the freeway and i rolled up on a srt challenger. i decided to mind my own business and continue on my way. well he had other plans. he sped up next to me and kept tapping the gas wanting to race. so i said ok why not. we did a start from about 60mph. i honked three times and we took off. i had started in 3rd gear and for some odd reason my car just started pulling on him. we stop at about 120 and i was still ahead of him by about 2 cars i'd say. is this normal?? i know those things are as heavy as a tank but how can i have pulled on him like that. it didnt sound like he miss shifted or anything and he actually had a clear lane. i had to change over.

I'm not buying it, a R/T Challenger would likely take you from a roll, a SRT Challenger should have raped you.

Yea I don't believe it either. Are you sure it was a SRT and not a R/T? I could see you beating an automatic R/T.

Had to have been an RT.

Skillz, you sure a RT would pull the OP from a roll? I seriously don't know man.

I was thinking the GT would pull a RT from a roll or dig.. This is considering the Challenger RT has the same powerplant as the Charger, only with more weight.

R/T's have 375hp, the autos are a little weaker.

Negative. Auto only for the SRT-8s.
