ok well i know its the STOCK PULLEY, he has a couple bolt ons, he could be exaggerating about the horsepower. he does that time to time. His gaylude was supposed to be a 13 second car and got smoked by a bone stock WRX from a dig and roll. So he could be making up numbers... either way. I think its prbably around what 89lx coupe says... but who knows. i guess ill just have to find out myself. ill let you guys know when it all goes down. my car always amazes me.

No you're not crazy. Just run him and smack his flakey a$$. My previous posts were geared towards a stand up combo from a stand up guy. I know a few guys in my extended inner circle that have nice supercharged S2000's that would put you away. This guy sounds like he needs his a$$ ripped. Take him apart...

 

Not with a supercharger on that motor. At least I don't think so. Those motors respond pretty well to boost, but I wouldnt have supercharged it. Limiting potential with smaller gains, for about as much as a turbo set up. I think he'll still beat you, but he would have made way more power with a turbo and really put the hurt on a lot of cars.

I think you have him OP. No way he is making 315rwhp with 5lbs. I'd guess he is making that at the crank and you are probably making 320+rwhp. Close race though.

 

I feel that even if the S2K is making 315 at the crank, with the way it makes it's power, and with the substantial weight differential it would be enough to walk on the GT from a roll...

 

General rule of thumb is ever pound of boost is aprox. 20HP. Obiviouslly this is only good to a point. You can only stuff so much fuel & air into a cylinder. It's realalistic to believe a boosted S2000 would have 300+ HP. He'll probably give you a better race than you think. Video is always nice. That way we get a little payoff for offering opinions.

 

I have pretty much the same race lined up for the summer. Kid I know has a supercharged S2000, and I haven't talked to him, but his brother makes it out to be the fastest thing in the world, said he "walks corvettes and such" with it....and according to his brother, he has a little over 300 hp, not sure if he meant crank or rwhp.
