I have the Astra-Hammond aluminum louvers. Their not hinged so they have to be taken off to clean the rear window. I haven't needed to take them off yet and don't think I'll need to anytime soon.

Here are my aluminum Astra-Hammonds, painted to match. There are 6 brackets that attach to the glass. They're not hinged but attach with 4 knurled nuts.

Atra hammond texturized rear window louvers, ABS plastic, looks great, gives it a real retro look.. vision is not as obstructed as it seems. Brackets hold great, car wash no problem.

Here's the Visus aluminum louvers. Hinged for cleaning, but no prop rod. Tested up to 130 at my last HPDE.

Only thing they don't like is blow dryers at the car wash. I avoid those...

imo, the aluminum ones are more 70s retro while the plastic texturized ones like the pair I got are more 80s retro.. all depends on the look someone is going for. Once I do the Mach 1 ( or Mock 1 lol) I am gonna get the aluminum ones. Though there is a possiblity I nmight just keep these. They cost an arm and an leg just to ship up here. Either way, it really dresses up the back end of the car!
