I wouldn't doubt it. I have heard of local tracks with a few people that tried to make passes while wearing shorts.....wasn't going to happen. That's probably for all auto racing, including dragracing.

I think it depends on the track. Almost everyone at the track here was in shorts tonight.

I've never had a vehicle that was even capable of a burnout so I'm a bit new.

Just rev high and dump the clutch? Anything more to it than that, other than obvious tire wear is this hard on the clutch or transmission?

well next Friday will be my first time at the track and I got some questions:

first-should I set my max rpm to what I'd be lauching at and just have my accel already floored?? I'm wondering if I set my car up like this in between shift would my car drop the rpm's to that lvl? I'm thinking it would be somewhere between 2.5k and 3k and I'd be shifting somewhere between 5.5-6k rpm

second-sence I can't get my hands on some readials should I decrease my rear(and front) tire pressure? if yes I'd guess to 15-20 lbs?
