I think the multiple color paint job will keep it from looking plain. Only 1 way to find out though.

 

Filler can work effectively if the hole is "dimpled down" and scuffed enough to to "hold" the filler. That said, it would be a simple matter (and just better) to make a quick spot or two on the hole to close it in... If welded with quick little spots, it will not cause warpage.

If filler is used to "just fill the hole" without dimpling, it usually will fall out or at least become visible in time.

I have seen plenty of panels with "dent puller holes" across expansive areas to know it CAN stay with proper prep.

 

Well if this interview tomorrow goes good and I get the job body work will start after sept 19th. I have a car show that day and know it won't be finished by then if I started now.
