Cold air intakes are a "waste." They are mainly just a tube, basically for looks. The filter is what matters. I swapped out with a K&N and did the job just fine.
If your running SLP's I would suggest a catted X pipe because with no cats the SLP's sound like a wet fart IMO, but if you wish to make it louder catless is the way to go.

Below is my setup if you wish to get some ideas.

Your car is Stock yes? No forced induction? No need to go any bigger than 70mm if your stock or or not forced induction. As for the CAI the inner fender runs alot cooler than under the hood, but like Durr727 said their pretty much pointless. I'm only running mine cause it was on the car when I bought it. I normally just put a K&N in the stock airbox, runs just fine.

 

yeah my car is stock except the exhaust. i was also thinking about putting long tube headers on it but ive heard that you have to drop the motor our to put them on. i can do it myself but i dont have the proper equipment.

 

You don't have to pull the motor out to do long tubes, but they're an absolute pita if you plan on doing them without a lift.

You can do it with basic hand tools and jackstands, but i would not recommend it!

On the flipside, they do sound awesome, and make noticeable power.

 

Exhaust: The slp catted x will be fine, anything else and it is too loud and nasty sounding, i speak from experience.

Tint: Typically, it is the dot matrix that causes problems. The tint has problems laying down nicely across that stuff, my guy did the best job he could and I have no problems with it.

CAI: Pleasing to the eye, but that is about it. TB&P will give you sharper throttle response.

LTs: Go for it, but figure that out before you buy the midpipe. You are fine with the SLP since you can go from a full length mid to a shorty because it is a modular system, but anyone else and you are going to have to buy a new shorty midpipe.
