will trick flow heads work on a 351? or be too small. Thinking of goint with a trick flow top end kit, as was doing a 331 or 347, but now looking into a 351 based motor.

aight i think im gonna try out the FAC heads from trickflow, and ill just have the machine shop fly cut the pistons and clean the block and put new bearings and rings in it while hes in there.

any ideas on the power it should make? other important info: mac longtubes and dumps, weiand stealth intake 650 cfm carb.
im hoping 400 at the wheels, but more realistically i think i will be around 365

someone help me out with this one then. for the fly cuts, does that do the other side of the valve or just enlarge the relief to accommodate a larger valve. do i really need to fly cut these for a FAC head? the hole saw in the pic is 2.125 inches.

I can't remember if the FAC head is a inline valve head, if so then you shouldn't need to flycut

hmmmm, just looked at the website.......looks like they are a twisted wedge design/ rotated intake, so you may have to flycut for twisted wedge fac heads ......if you wish not to do such go with the afr 185's

ordered heads today, should be here soon. bought the TFS FAC 190's. im all giddy now.
anywho, i called trickflow just to talk to a tech and they said the mechanic just put them on a flat top piston engine and had absolutely no PTV clearance issues. he also said a TFS stage 2 cam should work no problem, and it would probably put me right at my goal.
pics coming soon.
