i know i can just take it out all together but i don't have time for that now. are there any products for repairing hose? tape?

Depending on how bad the hose is split. I had a portion of the hose come in contact with my headers and burn a hole through it. I took it out ( it really doesn't take that much time) and put a blob of black silicone on it ( after cleaning it ) and that did the trick for me.

 

I have decided to remove the smog pump. which hoses do I need to plug?

 

the ones at the back of the heads after you remove the pipe
