paxton throwback or Vortech V3
now you're going to start something.
IMO, the air/water is better for the track. you can use a bigger reservoir and pack with ice for quicker cooling.
the air/air is good for the street, and the install is easier.
for the track go with air/water. for street either one is good.

even on the street I recommend the air/water.....my temps are never high since the addition of the Whipple H.O.- car runs cooler and stronger then ever before.....JDM I believe would recommend the air/water as well and they make all kinds of custom air/water intercoolers as upgrades to many types of FI and they seems to like its benefits much better then air/air.....I will look for the article....cant remember where I found it?
oh and for low boost any type of IC is good for the application it is used for.... I keep thinking big HP and want to keep things cool. JDM runs big HP and they use the air/water for the track for sure!
and my choice is the Vortech V3

How good of a deal is this? It doesn't specify if the gain is rwhp or not....
I hadn't even considered a roots style until I saw this price reduction. I'm just looking for bang for the buck and reliability, I don't race at the track.

I put down 397rwhp with my Vortech and they shut down at 5800rpm on the dyno. I call it 400 even for simplicity, but in reality its probably making about 415 at redline. Better bang for the buck in this case IMO. I'm pleased with mine for what I paid for it, its a good kit and I've had no problems. If I had to do it over again today, I'd probably spend the extra money and buy a Saleen Stage 3 from Brenspeed. I think this is mostly a curiosity about the twin screw now that I've driven the centri. Either way, boost is boost in the end.

I really like this kit, but decided on something else...
