So a new Camaro tries to race me this afternoon...
Speaking of that getting sucked back into your seat feel. Based on my (limited) experience so far, a person is going to need a LOT of power if you want to truly be pushed back hard, almost violently, into the seat. Even 400whp isn't gonna come close to it IMO. I've been in cars with well over 450whp and sure it pulled but I could still easily lean forward if I wanted to.
You'll need a TON of power to win the old "can you grab the $50 bill off the dash" test.
I can't speak for anyone else but my car feels pretty weak to me. Sure it blows my Honda away. But my friend's STI with that little turbo still feels like it pulls harder. Subjective opinion there ofcourse.

Let me try and find a video of Doodad launching his Pullied Cobra. His keys almost wanted to come out of the ignition.
Also, HP won't push you in the seat, TQ will. HP has to build, lol. It's not instant like TQ is in most cars.
I'll never get there. Can't afford to play. I'm beginning to rethink supercharging at this point since I can't afford to build the engine. And with my luck I'd be one of those guys who spent the big bucks after saving for years and then the thing would grenade on me for some unknown reason leaving everyone scratching their heads.
This hobby is not for people on a beer budget. :/

that's because your car is slow 98ls1
just bought a house.. and a bunch of tools..lawnmower.. going to remodel the house instead of buying a truck.. luckily I have friends/family.. and $30 is an all day truck rental from u-haul
I think i have my priorities in line.. now if I S/C'd my car and left my house alone then... i'd have some priorities out of whack.. and work is going to get me a Ford Escape 1st quarter 2010.. so.. dont really want 3 vehicles for 1 person anyway

haha definetly not my choice, i would have much rather had an F-150.. oh well..
good luck to you on the foreclosures.. hard to say how the market is going to go at this point.. a lot of ***** in the air right now with the economy. could be high inflation driving up house prices, could be deflation because of lack of jobs too if the gov't stops injecting money into the system.. could be higher interest rates to combat high inflation could leave borrowers short on cash and driving house prices down.. so it's difficult to discern.
I think im hoping for inflation with gov't giving everyone like $5000.. my costs are fairly set outside of fuel/energy/food..
I think that will lead to higher house prices.. also I have an FHA loan.. transferable at my 5.0% interest..
anyway.. sorry to get off topic.. go smoke some new camaros

That's why I particularly love the whipple blower. Twin screws build torque so fast it's just plain violent. The torque curve on this thing is almost maxed out at slightly over 2,000rpms. Gotta love it!
I haven't heard of anyone blowing a motor on the canned whipple or saleen tunes yet, and there are people with over 100K miles on those blowers. Risk it!
