Default 2010 Mustang V6 CAI?

Does anyone know of any CAI for the 2010 Mustang V6 4.0L? I can't seem to find any yet.

i think all the 05-09 will work, but they prolly wont for the 2011 since there beefing up the engines a bit. or so the rumors go

Go to this site:

www.tunableinduction.com

Click on the "05-08 V6" tab at the top and you'll see the system for the 2010 V6 once you get in there.

I ordered mine from him and it is great. Order the CAI and tuner with custom tunes for like 500 bucks. Worth every penny.

What do you think is the best brand of CAI? K&N or something else?

I don't think so. If you talk to John DeMolet (owner of the site hyperlinked above), you'll see that his product is top of the line. They claim (and have results to prove) probably the biggest gains with a CAI and tune.

A no-tune required CAI is nearly worthless. Additionally, they've been known to throw a CEL for running lean. It MIGHT gain about 3-6 RWHP on the V6. The only way to go is with a CAI & tune combo which will gain closer to 12-20 RWHP. The K&N isn't even near the top of the list of preferred CAI's for our S197's.

The DeMolet one (tunableinduction) is a "tune required" CAI.

Discodave, I looked at the dyno graphs for the Demolet, and it looks like most of the gains come at high rpms. How much gain did you notice when accelerating from a stop or cruising at highway speed? I also have a V6 'vert and am looking at my options. Also, do you feel a need to upgrade your suspension (maybe rollbars?) after adding the extra hp?

You'll get big gains from adding a dual exhaust also (although that's debatable by some). With the CAI, the 93 octane tune, and exhaust, you'll notice a HUGE difference from stock. The tune's probably the biggest thing. It shifts much smoother now with no lag between gears, and definitely has much more punch from the start. If you didn't know it was a V6 you wouldn't think it was a V6 after drivin it, I can tell you that. A buddy of mine has a GT and drove mine and couldn't believe how much power it has. I don't think you'd need to upgrade suspension or anything.
