Default fuel octane

im going to the track next Saturday and was wondering what the highest octane fuel i can run and what would be the benefits

If you are running the stock tune then you can run any octane 87 or higher--the benefits will be nothing.

There could be some loss of power with 93+ octane (increasing as the octane rating increases) as the stock timing will light it up a bit too late for optimal combustion...

i have a sct xcal2 with a dyno tune i run 93 now

so then run 93, Even if you could pick up 50whp on 110 octane(DISCLAMER: NOT SAYING YOU CAN!) whats the point? Unless you put 110 in your car every time you drive it i don't see any point to that.

Information that would have added value to your first post...

Nonetheless, and knowing that, there's no advantage to your running anything over 93 octane, and if you were to run 98+ octane you might lose power for the reason stated above...
