1/8 mile times.
I went out today and played around with a pocket dyno I have on my phone. I know it's probably not the most accurate but I averaged a 10.8 second 1/8 mile time. So how does this compare to every one else?

Thats not too accurate if thats all you were getting with yours mods... I went up to paradise raceway in calhoun and ran a fastest of 10.1 I believe and that was stock. People have reported 9.8's stock.

I've only ran a couple times and I don't have a tune... All I have done is dual exhaust and performance tires... but I've also replaced the hood with a cervini's hood so my car weighs a lot more than it did stock and I ran a 10.374 @ 69.64mph... I'll be going to a test and tune sunday for a few more fun passes so I'll post up if it improves any

Yeah I have a 5-speed manual. I was also not at a track but a piece of road in a abandoned sub-division. Also It was up-hill, I guess a 10 degree climb. So I know on a track I could do much better. My club is planing on going to a 1/8 minle track soon and then we shall see what I can do. oh and I am thinking of going 3.55 and a tlock in the future.

There is a 1/4 mile dragstrip not too far from where I live, I like to do runs there. But they include the 1/8th mile times on the timeslip. I just looked up some of my better ones I saved to Photobucket, not sure if they are my best 1/8th times, but they are at least close to my best 1/4 mile times.
I had a 2005 4.0 Mustang with the automatic I traded in for my new car in early June. It was a Screaming Yellow. Taken from this timeslip, it did the 1/8th in 10.0136 @ 72.39 mph. It was lightly modded, with just a single MRT axle back, and a K&N drop in. This timeslip was on May 5th of this year.
.
I traded the '05 in for a new 3.7, also an automatic, with the 3.31. It ran a 9.4758 at 76.30 mph. That time was taken on June 10th, 2010. It is 100% stock.
