Vinyl wraps anyone done it ?
I was thinking about doing the roof on my lava red black to go with the rest of the car but wanted to see some pictures wasn't able to find any on google.
Now I know i can just tear it off if I dont like it but thats kinda a waste of money.
Anyone has any links to a blacked out roof would be appreciated.
thx

Same here, very intersted in this thread.
Looking to do a full wrap to matte black for my 11gt.
Found a business that does professional wraps for marketing, etc. in San Fran. They also had some pictures of work previously done on their website. (a couple vehicles with matte black)
Was quoted $2250 and up to 2 days for the job. Put in several requests for quotes this morning at varying places.
I'm in Santa Barbara CA, looks like I have to go to San Fran or L.A. to get the job done.
Only concern I have is of course the maintance of said wrap, along with the removal of wrap 3-4 years down the road. On a new car, shouldn't be that bad but issue is the cutting/exacto knife work done when they installi the wrap.
Hmm.. maybe i should do wheels instead.

Money isnt the issue ido want the two tone i just dont want to paint my car period. Comprimising the factory paint isnt something i really wanna do. The wrap is cheap and not permanant which is the key really.

Matte black paint job: Around $10-15K
Vinyl Wrap for whole car depending on the shop: $1-2K. (I know, you dont want matte, just showing the difference overall.)
Looks identical, sexy, and it's not permanent which as you said is key. I have a white stang and I'm looking to gloss black vinyl wrap my roof as well. Heard it was about $200. My window tint cost more than that! It's definitely the way to go bud
As for seeing pictures, I think mayo here on the forums has done it to his '08 https://mustangforums.com/forum/memb...46101-vwb.html
also, at the very bottom of this page you can see it https://mustangforums.com/forum/2005...our-stang.html
