cool lotta good info here! nah its my friends car, I have a 98 v6 but it was a lucky find for me as i got it at a good price and it runs excellent! havnt been able to find a gt for a good price at all around here so decided to keep mine for a few years and put money into making it look nice

2013 GT comes with 420hp actually little bit of power lose by the time it gets to the wheels so about 390 or so if I had to guess. I never had mine on the dyno when it was stock.....
But yeah 98 GT makes those turtles on the Comcast commercials look fast. 2013 V6 will smoke a 98 GT all day long.

Yep, but a lot of older cars can really be brought up to modern standards with a gear change, the gear ratios they used back then was mostly to compensate for poor fuel mileage that the newer cars tech has helped resolve.
Unfortunately fuel mileage can be an issue with modifying an older car to perform with newer cars.
