4-5k is nothing for these motors. They can rev to the limit regularly, but I don't do it unless I am really trying hard to go fast, but I wouldn't recommend it every shift, or hold it at the limiter for any extended periods of time...
The motor isn't in it's highest power range until the 4-5k range, so feel free to go that high regularly.
All are my opinion based on facts that I have read. But they set the rev limiter to keep you from breaking the motor, so if you don't hit it you won't have a very high chance of breaking unless you do other things to hurt the motor.

Pretty sure the springs and valve train can handle the high shifts, being a high performance motor. Over rev it or drop it in the wrong gear at WOT and you'll spin a rod bearing just like any other motor lol.
