99 Cobra value?

99 Cobra value?
Hey guys..I have recently become a proud owner of a 99 SVT Cobra Convertible! I am curious as to what the value of my car is...5,284 original miles, mint showroom condition top and bottom, never seen rain...heck..I don't think this car ever saw dirt....it is as clean underneath as it is on top! Red, Tan top, original everything...even the exhaust looks like it just drove out of the showroom.... Has had the recall engine "fix" and runs perfect. Any help will be appreciated..
One other question??...Why does the Cobra have a rear bumper that has the Mustang lettering instead of Cobra??..
Thanks

RE: 99 Cobra value?
yea ran all numbers..have the original window sticker...called the dealership where sold...this is the way it came form the factory...I was on the SVT Cobra Owners association website looking at a lot of other Cobra's...they had the "Mustang" on the rear bumpers too...weird...
Thanks for the reply...
so...what's a low mileage 99 Cobra worth ?...

if it's as perfect as you say it is it, it could list at anywhere from $16,000 (which is arguably what it's "worth") to $22,000 which is what a dealer might try to get. But realistically like $16,000.... i think.

Gratz on your new purchase, your actually lucky 99 is the only year with MUSTANG on the bumper and have you notiiced that you have amber turn signals in the back, instead of all red? I have a feeling that those wierd items will make the car worth soething one day, not to mention you also have the first year to have IRS. Good Luck and enjoy

RE: 99 Cobra value?
Well I am a finance manager at a Ford dealership and I bought mine a year ago for $15k including a warranty and gap insurance...it had 41k on it and came with its own car cover....its clean enough to eat off of...to the right person your car could be worth about $20k-$22k.....but the value isn't in selling them just yet...there is not really a guide to go by on a car like that...its just what someone is willing to pay for it.
