Hey pal, I have a 99 convertible gt and have been thinking about putting on that same cobra front bumper unless I decided to go with the 05/06 conversion.
Can you tell me if there were any challenges changing out the stock bumper for the Cobra. Meaning did everything line up for the most part and was an easy swap?
Email me reply please: phil_kancel@hotmail.com
Thanks and great looking car you have there!

Bumper wont line up with a GT hood, havent seen it in person, but have seen pics it just looks awkward.
IMO the 03/04 hood and the 03/04 bumper do wonders for the appearance of 99/04 cars, second only to a mach with an 03/04 cobra bumper
Will see if I can find a pic showing you what Im talking about..
Appreciate the kind words

I am very interested in your car...Although a 99 Cobra has a little over 300 stock. Is it a cobra or just a GT made to look like one? Because i am very interested...lemme know

As stated it is a Cobra. Naturally Aspirated 4V (DOHC) V8.
With only a midpipe most GT's (2Vs) would be lucky to make 240whp.
The numbers I listed are SAE corrected #'s made on a Dynojet.
99/01 Cobras are rated at 320hp, after the recall work most of them did in fact make what they were advertised as making.
Not sure where you got 'a little over 300', but keep in mind manufacturer power ratings are always what the car is supposed to make at the engine, you need to take into consideration drivetrain loss.
This particular car made very good numbers considering it was near stock.
Most guys who know 4V NA Stangs will agree, and undoubtedly it was making 300whp with the catback and JLT.
Appreciate your interest, but the car has been sold.
