Hello everyone, Urambo here. I'd like to introduce my daily driver.
She is a 1995 Mustang GT manual coupe, bought off a dealer lot in 2009 with 121,000 miles. In appearance, she is mostly stock, and has had no power upgrades. But since purchase, I have been slowly discovering modest modifications made by previous owners.
• The 17" funnel-spoke wheels seem to be from a 2005-2009 S197, and bear the part number 7R33-1007-CA. They are fitted with 235/55R17 Pirelli P Zero Neros and 25mm wheel spacers.
• The front and rear springs have part numbers printed on them, identifying them as Eibach Pro-Kit (3510.140).
• Camber plates under the hood show part numbers identifying them as belonging to the Eibach 5.3518K kit.
• The shifter turns out to be a Steeda Tri-Ax.
The car now has 170,000 miles and is no garage queen. But I take care of her, and despite the underbody rust, she's in pretty good shape. Aside from repairs and maintenance, I have added some small upgrades.
• The steering rack has been replaced with a lightly used 2003/2004 Cobra unit that I found on eBay.
• The stock clutch quadrant wore out, and I've replaced it with an aluminum Steeda one. I've also installed Steeda's firewall adjuster with a new clutch cable.
I'm happy to join the knowledge base here and look forward to helping share what I've learned so far. Thanks for having me!

I am currently in the process of upgrading to Cobra brakes, starting with the rear. This job has become larger than I anticipated, and because the axle-shafts have to be removed to install new brackets, I am giving the differential a full overhaul as preventative maintenance. I'm also installing Steeda rear control arms while I'm under here, as well as KYB Gas-a-Just shocks and dampers.
After this project, I have some other things in mind. I will upgrade the front brakes to Cobra units as well, and install KYB GR-2 struts. I also intend to replace the old control arm bushings.
That's my short-term goal. My long-term goal is to bump the engine power up a bit, and fully rebuild the T5 appropriately. I haven't decided on a power figure or what parts to get there; this is a street car for Michigan roads, and I'd like to keep MPGs @ no less than 20.

I know this is my introductory thread, but this seems like as good a place as any to update my mods list, so I don't clutter up my signature:

• Rebuilt rear axle with Ford's M-4700-C Carbon Trac-Lok kit, and new bearings all around
• Upgraded rear brakes to Cobra using Ford's M-2300-M kit
• Installed TA Performance TA_1806 rear end girdle
• Replaced rear control arms with Steeda 555-2001 kit
• Welded in Steeda full-length subframe connectors
• Changed timing set to Ford's M-6268-B302 roller style during a water pump job (not really a mod, since it's adjusted to stock spec)
• Installed Cobra brakes on the front (including hoses, calipers, pads & rotors, but retaining the GT master cylinder)
