1966 Mustang Coupe
200ci inline 6 engine
automatic transmission
The motor has about 75k miles on it. Runs and drives
great, been driving it 6 days a week (about an 8 mile commute) for
almost 2 years. Have taken it on several 3 hour+ drives with no
issues. Manual steering, manual brakes (all drum). Has both
original black CA plates. RUST FREE, except for possible bubble under
paint(pictured below). All straight, except rear quarter panel
(pictured below)
Things that have been replaced or upgraded within the past 2 years
(most things done under my ownership, some were done right before I
bought it)
-electric fan
-new KYB shocks
-rear springs
-completely overhauled 8" rearend and rear brakes
-export brace (shock tower style brace)
-head gasket
-nice distributor/ignition system
-gas tank
-alternator
-voltage regulator
-brake lights, brake light assemblies and complete brake light wiring harness
-carpet kit
-exhaust manifold (stock)
-previous owner had a loud exhaust pipe & muffler hooked to the stock
manifold. Sounds Ok
small parts that have been replaced:headlight switch, wiper switch,
door latch mechanism, window crank, water pump, harmonic balancer/belt
pulley unit, thermostat & housing, and other odds and end
Could use a bunch of aesthetic work: needs a paint job. It is
starting to chip, but it hasn't changed much in the 2 years that I've
owned it.
-headliner needs replacement
-driver's seat needs a cover/sew job
It is geared really low so it will get hot if driven on the freeway
when it's over 90 degrees out. I had planned to put in a manual transmission to compensate, but never did.
Rear wheels are 5 lug pattern, front are 4. I have the 2 mate rims to
the rear that would go with the car. Car would need a disc brake swap
(600 bucks from CSRP) to match the rear pattern.
Will need tires soon.
Gauge lights are dim at night
In good shape for it's age
Also have original steering wheel that will go with car.
Pictures are really big. The ding on car (pictured) is the biggest on car. It
is on the pass. door. I took a picture of the broken rear package
tray from outside the car, reflections make it hard to make out.

Asking $6,500
Will consider trade for a small 4wd or awd vehicle. Must be a manual transmission. Let me know what you have.
