i recommend infinity, polk, diamond, or boston acoustics. pioneers tend to have a raspy metallic sound. componets up front will increase your sound quality two fold

How much cash do u have left over? If you have like $600, go with focal compenent. Easily best speaker on the market!

round speakers produce cleaner sound... that being said... get some adapters and put some 6.5" component speakers in... amp them... and you will be EXTREMELY happy with your purchase... even without a sub.

Im looking for something to replace the stockers. No amps, components, or any converters. Just take out the old ones, put in the new, simply becasue the ones now sound so bad, new speakers will do the trick with my upgraded head unit. Just simply want to know what speakers i should replace my stock ones with, bolt out, bolt in...thats all.

just trying to help you out... and save you money in the long run... when you're no longer happy with the upgraded speakers you're probably going to post this exact same question... and finally end up with the components... in the end, it's your money and it's your car.... do what you want.

For the money? Diamond Audio M651 if you need a 5 1/4" component set. Same set I am picking up for the Cobra. 199.99 with free shipping. www.onlinecarstereo.com
